So yesterday, I did my first official debut for my bestfriend’s little sister, Alyssa, and I’m pretty stoked on how well these photos are turning out. 12 Hours of photos to look through today and figure out which are the best of the best. It’s such a different atmosphere than I’m used to.. There wasn’t as much pressure on me because there was also a videography team there to capture what I might have missed.. I think this is a big step for me and I hope this brings me closer to photographing bigger memories, weddings.

I was contacted about a week or two before doing this surprise engagement shoot from a friend of the soon to be bride and groom’s. This shoot was supposed to be super incognito. It was cute, he had her at their school’s church and while, I was super far in the distance snapping photos of them like a ninja, she had no idea I was there because she had her eyes closed while he was reading a poem/letter to her. And right after that he had gotten down on one knee and proposed to her!

I knew Joanne from highschool although we didn’t speak at all she was a familiar face. Well, I had my assistant Nathalie with me for this shoot to make things easier. And oh my god, these guys are such a cute couple, yet awkward at the same time, which is not a bad thing though, it’s funny.

I’ve known Sabrina for years through her sister and I’ve done photoshoots with her in the past, and it’s crazy and she’s now finally engaged! This session we only chose one spot to take them at, and the turn out was great, and I think my assistant at the time was Sherry!
